Following up on next season...
If there's ever going to be one =)
Even though it's still fun from time to time playing on Get2net, I just can't find any reasons (atleast for the moment) why I should keep supporting the RA2 community.
So SRA2L is on hold for now. Thanks for all the good times and comments I've gotten over the past one and a half year. Still hope there'll be an 8th season!
PS. If people want to cheat they will break Q2ACE. It's just a matter of time! Just remember that. |

Will there be a next season of SRA2L ?
First of all thanks to [CBr]Jeppe for making me do this!
Next seasion you wont have the ability to choose what map/arena you want to play on! The pickup arenas will be chosen for you!
Depending on how many clans join the next season, I'll just make an example of how the arenas will be chosen with 8 clans joining (7 matches) :
3 times on map1-8
3 times on map9-16
1 time on map17-28
The playoffs will only have maps from 1-16.
Either accept it or this will be the last season of SRA2L. |

Playoffs
We're ready to begin :) The 33 server has been removed and acme has been added!
The 3lks goes directly to the semi finals because there's only 7 active clans left =/
NB: The demo from Ronin didn't show any sign of spikes.
Ooops
Forgot to mention... You _have_ to use Q2Ace in the playoffs (latest version ofcourse which is 1.04 at this moment). p_modified should be enterered at the start of each map and ofcourse if a player lags out, disconnects, etc. (don't have time to update the rules right now). If p_modified shows any modified models (except maybe the quad), the player is not allowed to play the match.
Remember p_version! (As usual ;))
I strongly recommend all players in SRA2L to use Q2Ace even when you're not playing a SRA2L match. This would probably take a lot of the whining away from the Get2net FFA server =) |
